Everyone has a rebellious phase in his or her lives. As inspiration Amelia Earhart, the first female pilot to fly across the Atlantic, embodied my personal feminist rebellion. 
Earhart had a chic femininity that shined through her masculine clothes. I therefore wanted to create a new black dress that would combine masculine and feminine silhouettes of the 1930's. I used machinery and aircrafts of the aviation era as visual inspiration for the details.
