The roots of my family in Italy and Tunisia inspired a tailored skirt men's wear look. I examined traditional and formal dress in old family photographs, and combined the tailored Italian suit with the draped, loose attire of the traditional Tunisian man. 

The inspiration for the printed fabric was taken from the traditional Tunisian dress, and was hand printed on the skirt by using paint thinner to transfer ink from paper onto the fabric.
